What an exchange means by 'stuck in processing' and how to get it unstuck

"Stuck in processing" means the exchange has seen your deposit arrive but cannot complete your swap - or even credit your balance - until it resolves a temporary check. Getting it unstuck usually requires you to wait, contact support with specific evidence, or (rarely) initiate a manual refund.

You send from your own wallet straight to the exchanger — nothing to connect, no account, and you stay on this page throughout. Rates are indicative until a swap is opened.

The swap is carried out by an independent exchanger and the deposit address above is theirs. orymsolana.xyz never holds, receives or controls your funds, has no key to that address, and earns a referral commission. Opening a swap sends your receiving address, IP, browser and timezone to the exchanger for their compliance checks; we store none of it. Check their terms, fees and country restrictions before sending anything.

Why processing stalls

Exchanges do not move funds instantly. They run automated checks on every incoming transaction. "Processing" is the status that appears while these checks are ongoing. Common reasons for a stall include:

How to get it unstuck

Step one: wait and document

Do nothing for at least 1-2 hours. Many stalls resolve on their own. While you wait, collect the following items. You will need them for any support request:

If the status updates to "completed" within that window, no further action is needed.

Step two: contact support with proof

After two hours, reach out to the exchange's support channel. Provide your TXID and deposit address. Do not explain what you think went wrong. State only: "Deposit shown as processing for [X] hours. TXID: [link]. Please confirm status."

Most exchanges will manually check if the funds arrived and credit your account. This step resolves the vast majority of stuck transactions.

Step three: request a manual refund (last resort)

If support cannot credit the swap - typically because the address expired or the deposit did not match the swap instructions - ask for a refund to the address you sent from. The exchange will return the original coins, minus network fees. This can take 24 to 72 hours.

Do not send more funds to the same address hoping it will "unstick" the transaction. This usually creates a second stuck deposit.

What not to do

When it is genuinely lost

Very rarely, a deposit can be non-refundable. This happens if:

In these cases, the exchange's support will tell you directly. No amount of waiting will change the outcome.

Serving swap funds safely

This page is part of a larger guide on swapping crypto safely. The hub page covers the broader process of choosing a swap site, understanding fees, and verifying that a swap is legitimate before you commit funds. If you are still deciding whether to use a particular exchange, that page is the next logical read.
